Abstract

To satisfy the needs of a sustainable high-growth economy, engineers must study and exercise their innovation and entrepreneurship skills. Only then can they be successful in developing the industries of the future. Government, higher education, and business must provide the regulations, infrastructures, financial support, investments in R&D, and venture capital financing required for scientific and engineering education to be internationally competitive.

This is Dado’s speech during the 2015 International Conference on Innovations in Engineering, Science & Technology (IRCIEST) held at Batangas State University on November 18 - 20, 2015.
